Golfing At Lakewood Country Club
Redesigned in 1920 by British Amateur Champion Walter J. Travis,
our championship golf course is known for its links style and small, undulating greens. The course presents an enjoyable challenge to all golfers, regardless of handicap. The course enjoys a USGA rating of 65.9/116 from the red tees,
68.9/127 from the white tees, and 71.7/133 from the blue tees.
The course is open to the general public and members.
Our 2006 greens fees are:
$29 weekdays
$22 weekday twilight
$35 weekends and holidays; $25 weekend twilight; $15 super-twilight
$21 ladies' day (Thursday).
The rates for gas carts are $15 for 18 holes and $9 for
9 holes.
Carts are required on the weekend during season until 2 pm

Weekday times become available at 12:00 noon
the day before a golfer wishes to play
and 5 days in advance for holidays and weekends.
The driving range is open 6 am to 9 pm. through Labor Day,
with reduced hours in the fall.
Buckets of balls cost $4 (small) and $6 (large) and may be obtained in the pro shop.
